Bell Tent Glamping



We have 2 sites :

  • 1 at Royal Victoria Country Park (RVCP)
  • 1 at MARWELL RESORT  (click link for Marwell Resort)


Please bring pillows, duvets, and towels with you, as these are not provided and we are unable to provide them as an extra.


Each tent provides an electric fire for heating on those fresh evenings all year round. The tents have cosy carpets and raised beds (1 double and 2 singles) with fitted sheets for your comfort.

Some info :



All cutlery and crockery including cooking utensils, microwave, kettles, toaster, fridges, tea, coffee, sugar, are available in our shared kitchen for your use during your stay.


Each tent has two sockets and two usb sockets.

We have male and female toilets and shower blocks.

Our frequently asked questions

1. Check in is any time after 14:00 check out is before 10:00. On the day of arrival you will be given all of the information required for you to check in via a text message, if for some reason you have not received this, please check your email as I will have had an issue with your phone number. For the majority of the time someone will be there to meet you, however if we are not on site for any reason you will have everything you need to check yourself in to your tent.

2, We have a kitchenette with all of your cooking and eating utensils (including bottle openers), fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridges, tea, coffee, sugar, for your use. There is also a washing up area with tea towels, cloths and washing up liquid.

​

3, Well behaved dogs, children, mum's and dad's are welcome. If anyone is seen to be disruptive then they will be told to leave. This said, the site is not a quiet site as we are very family friendly.

​

4, No noise after 23:00 or before 08:00, From 10PM we would like our guests to show extra care for their neighbours. If your neighbour is not being respectful, please do phone me at this time and I will come to site and remind the guests that being respectful is expected and anything else would not be tolerated.

5, We have male and female mains supply showers and toilets in the green porta cabin, we do not supply towels, or shampoo. We do supply hand soap.

6, Each tent has 1 double and 2 single beds (sheets are included but please bring pillows, duvets and towels with you). You also have, carpets, lights, electric fire, 2 sockets and 2 USB points, a picnic table and bbq. PLEASE BRING COAL / WOOD WITH YOU. you can have fires but only in the bbqs.

7,You are booked into a site that is in a public country park with access to 200 acres of space to explore, including a chapel / museum that was part of a world war 1/2 hospital, the largest brick built building for the majority of the 20th century, a massive kids play area, a miniature ride on railway, waterfront walks, cafe (open 9;30 - 17;30),



Reverse bungee trampoline, bouncy castles, kids mini golf. (only available in summer)

8, The most local pub is the Prince consort pub, which is at the entrance to the park. A 0.7 mile walk. There are several alternate pubs in the area as well. Several local takeaways do deliver to the site as well.

​

9, The local train station is Netley train station. For an adult it is a reasonable walk, for small children it might be pushing your luck.
